Torque Controller

This system allows parameters to be set up to control the torque, RPM profile, direction and time for any PLUTO screwdriver.

The EDU2AE and EDU2AE/HP deliver all the advantages of a precision torque control electric screwdriver at a fraction of the price of a transducer tool. The electronic control circuit cuts the power supply to the motor calculating the correct torque in response to 3 parameters: voltage, frequency and current according to the user selectable parameters below.

User definable parameters:

1. Driver Model
2. Torque level adjustment: 2.6 to 442 inl.bs (tool dependent)
3. Joint type (HARD or SOFT) selects RPM profile
4. Break Time: down shift speed from pre-torque to final toque when in the Hard Joint RPM profile
5. Ramp Time: select from 0.2 to 3.0 Seconds
6. Speed: tool dependent
7. Minimum Time: select from 0.1s to MAX - 0.1s. Torque reached before this time will not activate torque output signal.
8. Maximum Time: select from MIN + 0.1 s to 20 sec. If torque is not reached before the MAX time the screwdriver will stop and an error message will be displayed.
9. Auto Reverse
