Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 is a 65-mil thick, premium grade, highly conformable self-fusing rubber electrical insulating and sealing tape.

• Applicable over a temperature range of 32 to 100°F (0 to 38°C) without loss of physical properties;
• Is a UL recognized component for applications up to 130°C (266°F);
• Primary electrical insulation for cable and wire connections and vibration padding for motor leads rated up to 1000 volts;
• RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant;
• Thick construction allows quick application build–up and padding over irregular connections
