Manufactured by a special process that controls the inclusions of oxides and metallic and non-metallic impurities, Kester Ultra Low Dross is the industry standard bar solder for use in high tech electronic applications where lower surface tension and hole filling ability are essential. The purity of Ultra Low Dross meets the requirements of IPC/J-STD-006C and will conform to these requirements.
In addition, Ultra Low Dross Bar Solder goes one step further in the manufacturing process to provide a special low drossing alloy which reduces the amout of dross generated in the wave soldering process.
Cast bars vary by weight, and box quantities shipped may not be to the nearest whole pound.
